    tumbling loaded ammo?

Re: tumbling loaded ammo? Over the years I have tumbled loaded ammo, both new and reloads, by accident. Sometimes for over 2 hrs. Never had any safety issues nor did I have any problem firing them at a later date. Still would not recommend, why take the chance. Just one man's experience.

Reloading for the first time tomorrow...UPDATE!

Re: Reloading for the first time tomorrow... You might want to check the casings for length and trim if necessary, and chamfer the necks inside and out. And the last thing is.... your hooked! Once you start reloading you can't stop and you will always be improving your loads. Don't...

    Hornday Shell holder?

Re: Hornday Shell holder? I believe the 6.5Creedmoor has a .467" rim which will fit a standard .473 in shellholder. In other words just use a .308 or 30-06 shellholder and you will be fine. For me that's a Lee #3. Works for me with either store bought ammo or new casings for...

Booby Trapped Hiking Trails in Utah

Re: Booby Trapped Hiking Trails in Utah Sound like someone is trying to set up a drug use area and is using traps to scare off the hikers. If not for growing, for a trans shipment area. Or maybe mall ninja's trying out some tricks from the latest ninja movie? Either way, I agree...

Low cost source for LC once fired brass 5.56?

Re: Low cost source for LC once fired brass 5.56? Man, just the thought of taking the crimp out of 5,000 rounds has my arm tired. Especially the 2010, 2011, casings with the 4 point crimp, they really are a pain to remove. Hope you know someone with a Dillon 600 super swager or...

    My Savage Build complete!

Re: My Savage Build complete! Nice job on the rebuild and paint! Let us know how in shoots in the future if you try different bullets. Shooting a stock 12 LRP in 6.5CM. But I don't care for the plain gray stock. You've given me some good ideas to dress it up. Thanks! Enjoy!

    Thinking about getting into reloading

Re: Thinking about getting into reloading You might want to try reloading with a friend acquaintance first to see if you like it. Then you can get an idea of the cost involved. For 1 caliber I think $300.00 is a fair price for all the equipment. If you like it you can always expand...

AR Powders for: .223 55gr-69gr meters well

Re: AR Powders for: .223 55gr-69gr meters well The above powders are good. I've had very good luck with Win 748 for a lot of years. Accurate, ball powder that meters well through a powder measure, and it's easy on your barrel. Hope that helps. Enjoy!
