    Beginner needs help

The Redding T7 press will allow you to set up for a few different dies at one time. The Forster Co-Ax press is also excellent. I currently run both of those. I really like the Redding competition dies. I charge with the RCBS Charge Master. I hand prime with the Forster Co-Ax hand priming...

IMR 4350 question??? Some showed up at my fishing tackle shop.

I used IMR 4350 in some 6.5 Creedmoor loads as I couldn't find any H4350. The IMR 4350 loads shot exquisitely. If you have Gander Mountain in your area they sell it for $29.99 per pound.

The more I read, the less I feel I know what to do.....

It sounds like to me you're an intelligent person that is smart enough to know that there is a limit to how smart you are which in and of itself is a sign of intelligence if that makes any sense at all. With that being said, I have often felt the same way relative to reloading. There are some...

    Questions re: 6.5 Creedmoor

I have used IMR 4350 pushing 140 gr SMK's with great results. That was only because H4350 was unavailable at the time. Never tried Varget in 6.5 creedmoor though. I may see how it does with 123 gr scenars.

What do I need to start?

Take your time and learn as much as possible before getting started. Try to find a class near you or a friend to show you the basics. Good luck.

    .223 AI Bullet Advice

Gentlemen, I have a .223 Ackley Improved rifle I purchased from another Hide member about a year ago. It has a Rock 1:8 twist barrel and to date I have used it strictly for target shooting and have had excellent results with 77 gr. Lapua scenars. I am thinking about taking it coyote hunting...

    Time for a new press

I use the Forster Co-Ax and the Redding T7. They are both great for different reasons. I also use Redding dies. I've been reloading for almost a year and have had great success loading for several rifles and calibers. My advice is if you want a new press, get one. You don't even have to have...

    175 Gr SMK Question

In response to a couple of questions, I use the Sinclair comp and I am positive I am measuring correctly. I had shot appx 20 test rounds in between so throat erosion of that magnitude probably isn't the issue. At least I wouldn't think so. Thanks for the comments. Sounds like this has been...

Changing from H4350 to IMR 4350

I have had great results with IMR 4350 loaded for a 6.5 creedmoor. My gun loved 40.8 grains with a 140gr SMK.
