The early Walker style triggers had the bolt lock feature (when the safety was engaged). I believe this was phased out in the early 80s. So I believe a Walker style trigger without the bolt lock feature would be correct.
I’ve used a variety of suppressors on ARs over the years. The quietest that I’ve used has been the AEM-5 / Ops Inc. by Allen Engineering (this is the can used on the MK12). I don’t have any scientific data, but it’s noticeably quieter in my opinion.
Just a heads-up, your 700VS 22-250 with s/n 66944xx would have likely been produced around 1970 or so. The 6 digit receivers were used on the original M40 builds in the mid to late 60s, and the 7 digit receivers were produced from the late 60s to early 70s. The “A” prefix serial numbers were in...
