    You have $5,000 to spend on a rifle and optic - what would you get and why?

    Hi SH, I'm curious to see what you would choose if you had to 5k on a rifle and optic setup to get started. Ranges within a reasonable proximity to me go out to 1000 yards. I don't plan to compete but want to attend courses and enjoy honing my craft.
