I ordered a (P) but could walk out with an R-5. I liked the P stock better The 40X trigger is standard as I understand (I can get this to 1.5 lb save me $100-$200 on replacement) I like the Parkerizing. Rifle $150 less than R-5 But none of that matters if the r-5 is more accurate

This looks like a newer item and limited to 1 distributer (if true- so im told) It's kinda cool with the M40 (ish) B&C stock , factory fluted and ceracoat with R5 24" barrel, Remington also claims a heaver barrel is used due to the fluting . Looking the rifle over the B&C stock fit better...

Anyone notice on the flat surfaces of the upper receiver (sides) straight scratch type marks that show the patern through the finish? Not Century terrible but noticeable, definatly not percision machining. I wonder if LMT will even address a cosmetic issue? (rifle is 30-40 days old un-fired)...
