    285 Hornady BTHP & 338 Lapua Mag

    Anyone try this yet? Just tried this bullet out yesterday and so far it's looking good. 100yd .45" group, ringing tombstones @ 1000 and even played around @ 1500 with my last 3 rounds. @ 1500 I consistently hit 6 feet low and dead center 3 for 3, no scope adjustments were made. 1:9 Twist 26"...

    Primers for 338 Lapua Magnum

    Using Federal 215M primers i've been getting flat primers using 300SMK bullets, from 88gr. to 91gr. of H1000. This is using virgin Lapua brass, seated off the lands by .010. 88gr. seemed like a very safe starting point to me yet 88-91 grains all produced identical results on the 215M primers...
