    I have a PM II 5.5x25 with a H 37 reticle and I love it. But I am not Military trained or was hunter in my younger years. For me it is very easy to hold over instead of dialing clicks. But each to his own.

    Re: Vortex 4-16 FFP vs 6-24 FFP I shot 800 yds. A couple of weeks ago using my S&B 5.5x25x56. I only was using 15x. Never had a problem. Get what your comfortable with. 16x will work just fine for what you'll be doing.
