Re: So I have 156 1/10 mil clicks of adjustment .
I was finely able to make it to the range yesterday and with the 15moa base I was able to zero at 100 yards with 100 clicks remaining (35moa).
The ammo was 150 grain south african surplus. I am going to shoot some Federal Match 168 next and...
Re: So I have 156 1/10 mil clicks of adjustment .
I have a 15moa leupold base on the way from SWFA. I think that I am going to mount with this one first and see what happens.

Re: So I have 156 1/10 mil clicks of adjustment .
So you figure that I may have about 5 mil of adjustment after 100 yard zero? I am hoping for better than that, but you may be right. I am worried about getting a 100 yard zero even with a 15 moa base. Most of my shooting will be no more than...

I just checked my new Weaver tactical 4-20 and came up with 156 clicks of elevation. Checking my 3rd grade math skills.
156 1/10 = 15.6 mils of total elevation adjustment. If I am lucky and the zero at 100 yards does not take much out of the top any idea how far out it would take me on a 26inch...
Re: Is a HS precision pro ser worth the extra $80.00?
Thanks guys you made me do some thinking. I will hold out for the Mcmillan unless I run across a better deal on something used.
Still need to get a better stock for my 700sps.308 varmint. Stockys has Bell and Carlson Sendaro 2958 for $213.76. Midway has HS Precision Pro series pst012 for $293.99. Is there really a $80.00 quality difference between the two? If the HS is that much better a stock at almost $300.00 should I...
Re: Weaver 4-20 tactical with 0 cant base for 800 yard
Found Leupold 59235 mark 4 15moa base on the SWFA site. I am going to exchange for it and use the Seekins medium rings.
FNG with a question. I am in the process of putting together my first medium range gun. It is a .308 Remington 26 inch sps varmint with a weaver 4-20 mil mil tactical. I just ordered Seekins medium rings with there 0 cant base. SWFA said with that scope and a 20 degree base I may not get a 100...
