Coup De Grace vs Nucleus or Origin

And then there are a lot of original Nucleus owner's that have never had a single issue with them. I have one of the first Nucleus action's made, and I still run the 16# firing pin spring in it. Never had a single light primer strike or FTF with it. I also installed a 16# spring in my Nucleus...

    American Rifle Co actions

I've got three ARC action's, all LH. A Nucleus gen 1, #13 produced, never have had any issues with it, still runs the 16# spring. I also have the Barloc system on it, and have never had any issues with it. A Nucleus gen 2, really like the new bolt release on it as well as the integrated recoil...

    Your PVA prefit experience

PVA makes a great barrel. The shouldered pre-fit that I ordered from them on my Nucleus Gen2 action has been very accurate, and cosmetically perfect. Josh even called me to let me know that the original barrel that was sent to be cerakoted was lost in shipment, and he expedited a new barrel for...

    Rifle Scopes New Steiner Scopes

If they haven't fixed the parallax and CA issues in the T series, they aren't worth buying. There are too many better choices that don't have these issues.

    IOR Valdada (still bad?)

I've had a Recon for years and it's one of my favorite scopes. I like the reticle, it tracks perfectly, and I like the glass better than my PMII's. I don't own any ZCO or TT scopes, so I can't compare to those, but the IOR Recon does what I need it to do.

    Gunsmithing Savage Bolt slop fix?

Yeah, Savage action's are pretty rough when they are on the new side, but put a few thousand rounds out of them and they are pretty damn slick. I've got a couple old Staggered feed Savage action's that are smooth as warm butter. They are just as smooth as any of the custom action's I have, it...

    ARC Archimedes Bolt Stop: PITA

I fixed mine today while I had the gun apart swapping out barrel's. I just cut about 1.5 coils off the detent spring. It turns pretty easy now, but still locks in place when the ball is in the detent.

    ARC Archimedes Bolt Stop: PITA

My Nuke 1.0 bolt release has always been simple to operate. I love the new style on my Nuke 2.0. The bolt release on my Archimedes just plain SUCKS! It really needs to stick out at least another 1/2 inch in order for me to be able to operate it easily. Ted needs to make an extended version of...

Left Hand rifle vs adjusting to standard (right)

Left eyed, Right handed here. Grew up shooting RH gun's left handed, never an issue. I learned to shoot RH almost as well in my late teens, but it's just natural to shoot LH for me. I still own a couple RH bolt actions, but 95% of all my bolt action rifles are LH.

American Rifle Company Black Friday and Cyber Week Sale

Some of you guy's better be glad you didn't pre-order the Gen 1 Nucleus a couple years ago if you're whining about this short delay. Go order a new barrel from Krieger, or Bartlein right now. You might get it in about 12 months. I called ARC once since I ordered my Archimedes, just to make sure...

Top scope brand that costs 4k+ keeps cracking
