I came to find an answer on this. as the mag goes up, the image quality seems to get blurry in a hurry. I messed with the diopter and have it where I consider perfect. at 300 the target (a 10" plate) is easily visible and hitable but it is NOT a crisp clear circle as when viewed through a 1/3rd...- clsmb
