Forster Micrometer Seating Die Issue
Unless Redding have changed their seating dies they are more prone to the mushroomed seating stem than most. .224 Valkyrie bolt gun
I fail to see the purpose of a .224 Valkyrie in a bolt gun. It’s reason for being is to fit an AR-15 magazine and to be able to be used with a barrel and bolt change. No 147gr ELD-M love?
I won’t say that am 8.5 twist barrel will not work, but I think it would be at the extreme slow end of what would. My experience with 6.5s has been with 8 twist barrels.
