The real question is, did she like it enough to want to go back? Mine will go if I drag her down there but as to her wanting to go without being prodded, that's a whole different story.
I have to say keyed slots would be much better. Maybe i'm wrong in thinking that it would be an easy addition. I think they look great so beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Other then that I think slots that line up with gas block adjustments would be something to take into consideration, on...
Awesome idea. I have been using a tasco telescope as a spotting scope for longer ranges and my biggest gripe with it has been the eye relief on it. If I could do something like this with my phone It would keep me from ever having to buy a real spotting scope.
This thread makes me wonder what my OBR 5.56 will do. I never really tried for groups outside of sighting it in, but I did manage a few half way decent groups. I shot all my FGMM 79, but I still have a ton of Hornady 75. I will have to go back and try with them looks like you had decent...
So much hate. When the reality is the more innovation and competition there is in this industry the better it is for us, the end user. My personal dealing with Larue on the customer service side have always been top notch. You guys can go back and forth about what an ass hole Mark is but it has...
Is it weird that this makes me want to reload? I grew up with a Grandfather who was an avid re-loader. He always put me to work, and it always felt like work. I never understood what an art it was when I was young. I'm starting to see the light again.
I never said I didn't like KAC, I'm just not sure the extra price is justified. If Uncle Sam is buying and I'm heading to the sand box sure give me a KAC. If I'm sitting on my bench trying to make bug holes I don't see the advantage.
No offense taken. At least you admit they are over priced. I have shot almost every brand rifle out there, and KAC is nice, but they are just passing that huge R&D budget on to the average shooter.
I have no doubt that KAC is top notch but they are the most overpriced guns out there. I guess they have their mil contracts and could care less about sticking it too the average Joe. Nothing about a KAC gun makes it worth 2k$ more then any other top notch gun like JP, Larue, or Gap.
I love that burnt bronze color. I'm usually partial to keeping black rifles black, but every time I see the burnt bronze it makes me want one just a little more.
I own an OBR 5.56, I couldn't be happier with it. Regardless of your personal opinion of Mr. Larue, they make quality guns. I have no doubt they will put out decent barrels as well.
