For future reference go here for Savage upgrades. Sharp Shooter Supply - The Savage Specialists Brux and Douglas barrels. No experience with Douglas but my Savage with a Brux barrel was a shooter. Jim
I have been there. Shot some IDPA matches years back. I think that the guy running the match was named Rich. Not sure. I am 45 minutes south east of the range. They didn't have a 100 yard berm back then as I recall. Sits on a lake, right? Jim
Daggone, Holeshot you have now blown all of my excuses: its too cold, windy, wet etc, etc since I am from Indiana too. What range is that in your picture? I guess I need to suck it up and get my entry (ies) in?? Jim
I have a Cooper Model 21 in .223. Accurate and a pleasure to shoot. My only single shot but I would definitely buy another. My wife loves the caliber and the rifle. Actually, I bought it for her. It should suit your son well. Whichever caliber you choose I'll bet you will be pleased. Nice...
Lazer, Since the Cooper is border line I'll enter with a Savage Model 11 Lightweight Hunter. Thanks for the exception but since it isn't what you intended I'll come in with a Savage. Just pulled it out of the safe. Weather is good today. I'll go shake the winter rust off. Jim

Re: WARNING ~ TR ~ My experience Frank, Your post #3507827 was classy, seriously. Thank you. Not trying to tell you how to run your business. My point was how much more can be said or learned that has not already been posted to this thread? Once it got to the point of name calling and...
Re: WARNING ~ TR ~ My experience Regardless of my post count I am still entitled to my opinion without insults from the forum owner. If that is where you have to stoop, good luck and have a nice life. You have no idea of my education or business accomplishments but somehow my post counts are...
Re: WARNING ~ TR ~ My experience Why has this thread been allowed to deteriorate to name calling? Frank, close it and move on. I am the "guy" whose problem was fixed by TR and my name is Jim St.Charles, not "guy". Your impartiality is at question to say the least. I get it that Rooney was...
Re: WARNING ~ TR ~ My experience I have to wonder why GF is getting piled on when he is only trying to add balance to the discussion. He didn't call anyone a liar or call into question anyone's veracity. I also wonder why no one has responded to my experience with TR which was good and they...
Re: WARNING ~ TR ~ My experience I have relevant experience with TR. I have no affiliation with them and there members here that can verify that as true. In 2/2012 I contracted with them to build a .204 SVR. Delivery time was represented as nine months. In the meantime I bought a LMT .204...
