    Savage 110 BA Offset Recoil Pad

    FYI for the 110 owners out there. The OEM aluminum butt plate is 4.5" H x 0.5" W x 1" L. So I just bought 6061 aluminum bar stock of those dimensions (comes in minimum 2' length for $8) and machined out the same bolt holes (upper is 3/8" and is pinned with a 1/8" pin, and the lower is 1/2")...

    Question Re 300 WM Hornady 208 AMAX COAL

    I have worked up some loads using the 208 A-Max and want to make sure I am doing it right as it is my first 300 WM reload. Hornady data says COAL is 3.340" but in the 208 A-Max thread looks like most folks have a COAL between 3.500" and 3.600". Mine came out to be 3.571" just touching the...
