Watch Out for Scammers!
We've now added a color code for all accounts. Orange accounts are new members, Blue are full members, and Green are Supporters. If you get a message about a sale from an orange account, make sure you pay attention before sending any money!
Try to rock-proof your light / lights as much as possible. Maybe a spare clear shield) Those logging trucks come flying in the opposite direction in the gravel sections, and they don't give a fuck.
I have some on my L side. As long as I walk 10,000 steps a day ( Total. Includes every step, about 4.5 miles for me) it keeps it at bay. My ortho guy says "Motion is Lotion". So far he's 100 % correct.
Don't feel bad. I lost significant money buying the coolest of the time, expensive rifle and scope also. I even thought about selling the 5R. Turns out, for some reason, I couldn't get better results with the new rifle, and sold it at a loss. Taught me an expensive lesson.
Not worth it if you need your job. You can't beat HR. They are not there to help you (don't ask me how I know). Now, if you were thinking of retiring soon, well, then show him the full Monty...
In my experience in Germany, they won't even do that. You have to ask for the check before they will bring it. You can sit at the Hofbräuhaus München all day after you are done eating. If you don't ask for your check they won't bring it. A local told me it was considered rude for the waiter to...
What I don't understand is combat vets that come back *without* hearing loss and tinnitus. There is such a thing, I understand. I shot my dads 30-06 maybe 30 times with no hearing protection when I was 15, but what probably got me was riding fast bikes with loud headers for many decades. I'm 65...
Yea, I probably would have cleaned it too. What Todd Hodnett (look up his credentials) meant in his course was that after you clean a long range rifle you have to shoot a few rounds (close to 20?) through it to "re-coat" (my term, not his) the bore, which will get it shooting back to it's...
Agree. It's amazing what people will write now, even in established series. Honestly I think it's the publishers that are approving the "Woke" books over the "Not Woke" or neutral books, and the writers are selling out.
Disagree. "The Martian" was great, and the latest one (by the same author) "Hail Mary" is even better BUT if you listen closely to Artemis there is a whole lot of Wokeness going on in it...
Funny that you say "Federal American Eagle junk". When I bought my Les Baer 45 ACP ($2,800) certified for a 1.5 inch group at 50 yards, being a rifle guy, I thought they must be using some kind of super special match ammo. I called Les Baer (as tons of people have) and asked what super exotic...
I have an LMT6. Its a great hat, but a bit overpriced. If you live somewhere super hot, the "airflow" part of it is not that great. I bought an LL Bean Aussie Breezer hat. It is MUCH cooler, less expensive, and about 90% the quality of the Tilley.
