I have a few rifles that can shoot sub. 25moa but I on the other hand can't shoot better then. 5 moa every day. I would say me and my rifles can shoot half moa out to 500 yards everyday and that opens up past 500. Some days I'm a. 25 moa shooter but on average its half moa.
I'm running the factory triggers in my two Tikka's and I like them pretty good. I may try a spring kit but it's not worth the price of a new trigger to me.
All of mine seem to shoot better dirty. I do clean them about every 300 to 500. For the first few rounds after a cleaning I seem to not shoot as tight of groups
One thing I forgot about was the barrel is a sum bitch to remove.(maybe I'm just weak) but I had to thread the barrel for my cans which are all tacops and they like using the 9/16 pattern.
I have two tac a1 rifles. One in 308 and the other is a 260. I have nothing but great things to say about both of them. With factory fed gmm ammo they will shoot half moa and with my handloads they are grouping around.25 moa. I am probably a. 25 moa shooter so they might shoot even better then...
I purchased one a few months ago and put around 50 rounds down it just to see if it was worth my time and money. The groups were way better then I expected from a factory rifle. So I had the barrel cut down, threaded and timed for my suppressor. This thing is a hammer!
I figured I would post a pic of my new rifle because I can't recall ever seeing a DBM Tac-Ops rifle before. I'm sure most people already know how well they shoot and how the attention to detail on these rifles are on another level. I've only had a chance to shoot this rifle a few times but...
Re: Tactical Operation Delta 51 Thats one hell of a nice platform and you did a awesome job of showing the detail of that rifle with those pics. Your floor plate is killer. It still amazes me to see the detail in their bottom metal and it's hand engraved, freakin insane.
Re: tac ops x-ray 1060 yards That's some awesome shooting, Cotton! I too have shot groups in the .25 MOA range at 1000+ yards with my Tac-Ops. They are well worth the wait for sure. Can't wait until my other Lima and Xray are finished.
