Re: Need advise on a scope for under $1000 IOR. You can usually find some good deals on here in the optics for sale forum. Can't go wrong with an IOR and sometimes you can find them for under 1000.

I have some rounds that the cartridge overall length is 2.180. I can only find Maximum lengths. I run 2 different M4 carbines. Are these safe to fire? What is the shortest you can go?

I understand that I have to do the whole tax stamp process for a SBR but one of the lowers I own is a Spikes tactical ST15 multi cal lower. On the serial # though it say SBR031**. Does this mean it was registered as a SBR already at one time? Haven't had a chance to compare. Thanks in advance...

Re: Anodizing? Ordered some ALUMA HYDE II from Brownells. Should do the trick. My barrel is not off a pss so it is not parkerized, and I think this matte black should match up well. Thanks for your answers.

Re: SWFA SS 5-20 or IOR 3.5-18 IOR. The glass quality alone is enough of a reason. But The MP8 reticle is outstanding. Tracking is great. Very durable. With that being said I have only handled one of the SWFA SS optics. And I am an IOR owner and fan. Maybe I am biased. I know my IOR 2.5-10x42...
