Just bought some fired Win 308 nickle plated brass. Measures 56.4gr H20 after resizing. All has very consistant neck wall at 0.012. New Lapua is about 56gr but I imagine it will grow when popped. Anything I should watch out for when using this brass. Probably run 168SMK @ 2650 nothing too hot.

Can I chuck a Badger FTE brake in a 4 jaw on the brake OD or is the thing tapered. Can I use the pilot bore to indicate from or does this need to be installed on a barrel and indicated from the bore? Seem like a PITA to put the barrel in the lathe with a range rod just for a brake install.
