Has anyone tried the Midway USA Sniper's Drag Bag?

as others have said, the zipper pull came off mine pretty quick and was replaced with 550 cord. the nose fits loose and was secured with a biner. other than that for the money it has held up quite well and does what i need it to do.

i have a 39 mountie, that is a great shooter. quite an accurate little gun. an older marlin 39 of some variation would be my recommendation.

    triad tac stock pack

not sure if it will fit a thumbhole stock or not, but my guess is probably. not sure if you'll get ten rounds in the modular pack as i only have the standard ones on my rifles.

    Hearing protection

i've been pretty happy with the surefire plugs. do the msa muffs work well with a cheek weld on a stock?

    Rifle Scopes Swfa

i've had my 10x for a while. i primarliy use it on my .22, but it also serves knock around duty to check other rifles for accuracy or just play with. i've been totally happy with their service each time i've used them. great to hear they go above and beyond if issues arise.

Rifle Scopes SWFA SS Fixed Magnification

i have the 10x and have been happy with it. clarity is good, tracks perfectly, and i like the reticle. not to mention the price tag is very fair.

Sidearms & Scatterguns Ordering my first 1911, a Wilson Combat CQB. Have a few questions...

nice choice for a first 1911. 1)i'd go with the curved trigger. 2)standard springs have always worked just fine for me. 3) good supply of wilson mags and get to shooting!

Sidearms & Scatterguns stupid 1911s...i don't know why everyone loves 'em

i would agree with the springfield trp recommendations, or scour the classifieds. there are some very nice 1911s out there to be had hardly used.

    Fieldcraft homemade snow camo

for homemade a bedsheet "poncho" with some rattlecan works well. cheap, easy, quick to don/doff. the tyvek painters suit is a good idea too.

    Prone vs bench shooting

i've always shot slightly better from prone with bipod than from the bench with bipod. not sure why, and it's not as drastic as the op, but better just the same.

    leica crf 1000 or???

after trying them both for a weekend, i decided to keep the leica. they both worked well out beyond 1000yds on hard targets. the leica's optics and reticle mae it much more user friendly. no clutter, and noticeably brighter and sharper. i also wasn't that interested in the vortex's angle...

    First Spotting Scope Recommendations

i have the konus 2-60x80. the tripod and bag are junk, but the scope itself is pretty nice for the money. i've had mine for maybe a year and a half, and will be looking to upgrade sooner than later. i can see the argument to spend more up front and get something nice, and i usually go that...
