Purchased this a few years ago thinking I might get into service rifle matches but it never happened. This is a White Oak armament pre-ban service rifle upper on an assembled Rock River Arms lower utilizing Rock River Arms 2-stage chromed match trigger kit and an ambi-safety lever. Upper is...
Started into reloading a couple of years ago. I'm still a lightweight, I only have a single stage and really only load about 4-5 calibers at this time. Long term though I could see myself eventually being fully setup with a progressive too and literally handloading every single round I fire...
Re: How many reloads become unsafe? Doesn't brand of brass factor in this equation as well? I have a batch of Federal brass that's been reloaded only 4 times, but they have very little neck tension. I use a Lee collet neck sizing die, but it's not at all precise in regards to how much...
Re: DPMS LAR-308 SASS Troy makes a rail that bridges the gap for the most part. There's still a tiny gap but it still matches the flat top rail so that your optics can bridge the gap if needed.
Re: Any Steyr Aug Owners? Wow, thanks for all the good info. I think I'm probably more interested in a pre-ban due to collectibility of it and less likelihood for it to lose value after I put 1000 rds through it. Compat with pmag would be nice, but not a deal breaker for me.
Everytime I see one of these I want to own it. Unique and well-designed always sits well with me. Downside, I'm a lefty so I'd want to get the left-eject bolt for it. Anyone have any experience with these and can tell a novice what to look for? Seems like the original imports go for high...
Re: TRG 22 vs 42 regrets? Don't forget that there's a 300WM option for the TRG-42 as well, also in limited supply. Both the 300WM-42 and 260-22 cost a bit more due to limited numbers that they were sold. The only benefit to the 42 IMO is that they are priced such as they are. The 308/338...
Re: Tikka T3 Sporter Opinions? This is a Sako, right? I actually already have a TRG22 in 308. Its a better gun than I am a shooter, but the 308 is a bit of a let down beyond 700-800yds. It was my intent to not make a mistake in assuming that a Tikka would perform on the same curve as its...
