Night Vision Cheap IR laser for night vision.

There was a thread here or on AR-15.com about this Grabagun.com Crimson Trace Corporation RAILMASTER UNV RL MNT CL1 IR LSR Online Gun Store Several guys had tested them and it seemed that all had good results. I picked one up just a couple weeks ago from the above store and I think I paid...

Night Vision D740, 4x range time

You can get a whole can of them for $1 at the dollar store. I use two and staple them on top of a shoot-n-c target, in the form of a cross, on a plywood backstop.

Night Vision Recommend me a good NV scope.

Those sure are small hogs they have in the UK. Don't appear to have very big cutters. I'd be afraid to go out there after them. At least the suppressor quiets that .338 to a point where they can't locate you.

Night Vision Using a PVS14 and a Magnified Scope

I think that STOMP is meant for clip-ons. Never used one before as the ad states LEO and MIL only.

Night Vision Using a PVS14 and a Magnified Scope

No doubt the PVS-22 will work much better, it's just a lot more money.

Night Vision Using a PVS14 and a Magnified Scope

If you are going to be sitting in a stand, the pvs-14 attached to your scope can work quite well, as long as your scope has an adjustable objective. Side focusing is easier than reaching down the scope to turn the objective, but both will work. You also need a scope with good light gathering...

Night Vision battery life pvs 14

Re: battery life pvs 14 I was throwing away good batteries until I decided to check them first. I picked up an inexpensive volt/ohm meter at Harbor Freight for $4.95. Checked it's accuracy against my expensive meter and was surprised how accurate it was. I keep it in my kit all the time now.

Night Vision Battery Care and feeding for NV....

Re: Battery Care and feeding for NV.... If you have a Harbor Freight anywhere near you, they sell a volt/ohm meter for $4.99 that is pretty accurate, given the price. Don't wait for signs of leakage to remove the batteries. If it uses a 123 three volt battery and you get a reading below...

Night Vision Let's see your NV gear and kill pics

Re: Let's see your NV gear and kill pics Skypup, Some of the biggest hogs you've shot look to have some domestic genes in them. The cutters on that one are freaking huge. I don't think I've seen any bigger. Oh, by the way, how do those oysters taste?

Night Vision High tech redneck "jackrabbit" NV scope adapter

Re: High tech redneck "jackrabbit" NV scope adapter I found variable power scopes to work better for me because my VP scopes start @ 4X and have a 56mm bell. Just my limited knowledge, but I do know that the more light allowed through the scope, the better. My VP (variable power) scopes all...
