Rifle Scopes Need a scope for a 223 bolt action
SWFA SS 10x or 12x MRAD and lotsa ammo with the money you saved. As a fellow new bolt rifle shooter, I recommend not going crazy on the optics until you've spent some time shooting and learning what you like.- romad7

Enlisting in the military???
Any high speed AF job (TACP, CCTV, PJ, EOD, etc) will be very hard on your family life. I left AD TACP after getting married and being promised 9 month deployments on a regular basis. CCT would be no different. Almost as a rule, the more badass the career field, the more you'll be gone...- romad7

Re: Bulk .223 ammo worth shooting in a bolt gun? Consider Hornady Steel Match for practice shooting. I was shooting bulk ammo and was so random I couldnt tell if it was me or the ammo or even the rifle. With Steel Match 75gn I was shooting a lot more consistent for less money than true...- romad7
