Doan Trevor does good work with wood stocks from what i've heard from other shooters, might wanna check him out, don't know what kinda wait time is involved with stocks from him though.

I have the 2014 NF Comp scope also......I've shot it in 600 yard and 1000 yard matches and really like it.......Tracks well, very good glass etc.

Could be both, not sure.....All i can tell you is that they don't hold vertical quite as tight as the lighter bullets do (for me at least).

I've been shooting them for the last 4 months.....I use large primer lapua brass, with a 30 inch 9.25 twist Brux im running 2570 ftps (freebore about .260 to .270).....They are very finicky on the bipod, you can't muscle the gun (at least i can't do it and get away with it).....Vertical problems...

Varget is probably the most commonly used powder of the ones you listed with juggernauts.......H4895 is another good powder with juggernauts.

I use the 21st Century drop tube as well (10 inch) when using H4350 in my FTR rig, all of John's products are top notch quality......Pour slowly and you'll be surprised at how much powder you can cram in there.

Rick, i think Tony made HM with his .223......I'll ask him to be sure, either way it doesn't matter.......His last couple matches he shot 590s with the .223 for sure, its a hammer at 600 yards with the 90s. I've heard guys say on forums how easy it is to make HM at midrange in FTR but most guys...

I've shot on 24 power in 1000 yard matches when mirage is heavy and it works fine, if conditions allow, i much rather crank it up though.

+1.......Stick with the temp stable powders and be happy, i had to learn this the hard way......Accuracy and consistency beats velocity.

Have you tried the Berger 230 OTM or the 215 Hybrid?......Friends of mine that shoot them in their 300 mags love em, especially the 215s.

I haven't shot the 185 Scenars but do shoot a lot of juggernauts and .010-.020 jump is the sweet spot. I would think the Scenars would perform decent at that distance to the lands in most guns but testing is the only way to know in your gun. I tested the 155 Scenars at .015 jump and they shot...

In fairly calm conditions the 6mms can burn it up no doubt, when the wind really howls the 7mm and 30 cals tend to take over but recoil becomes a factor with the big guns, sure...

I clean with SS media as well, i use graphite on a Q-tip and lube the inside of the necks before seating bullets.

Wade hit the nail on the head, shoot FTR as your gun is more geared for that than F Open.........You'll have a blast, good luck!

The heavier bullets do tend to give more vertical problems on the bipod, i saw that when i shot the 230s......Form is critical, much more so than with the juggernauts......What bipod are you using?

Were you using 210 VLDs or 210 LRBT bullets?......Just curious.

I can't say who makes the "best" annealer but i use a Bench Source annealer and im very happy with it. I can anneal 100 cases (308) in less than 10 minutes, its fast and easy once setup. There's videos on you tube of it in action. I anneal after every firing and its worth the money to me.

I don't know what the freebore is in the 230 barrel, i made a dummy round with the bullet seated where i wanted it in the neck and sent it to the smith and he throated it per that bullet.....Its above the neck shoulder junction.....A 30 inch barrel is what i have (9.25 twist heavy palma), 45...
