I have a GAP Crusader in .260 Remington (re-barreled from .308) that I'm going to have GAP convert to 6.5 SAUM just as soon as I finish shooting the 500 rounds of reloaded ammo I made. I'm hoping by then, there will be more options for brass and dies available.

Re: 260 FPS So, are the velocities mentioned in this thread for a 24" or 26" barrel, or does the extra couple of inches nor really matter? Also, does running a lighter bullet at 3KFPS work better at 1000 yards and is it harder on the barrel? I'm in the planning stages for a future .260 build.
