    Gunsmithing how do I bed a scope base

    Re: how do I bed a scope base I bedded the front of my scope rail slighty to match contor of the reciever and put stop on the front of the rail. then did the 8541 video to bed the back of the rail. will this affect anything?

    new to forum and long distance shooting

    I picked up a r700 sps tac in .223, plan on putting it on a hs precision pst012 stock. then topicing it off with the midway vortex scope. this forum has already help me and cant wait to learn more.
