    Powder for 300WM?

    i really like the 210 vld's, and 178 amax with H1000, i tried a long combination of several powders, primers, seating depths but had a hard time getting the 208 amax under .6 moa consistently.

    If a person wanted to get in the 1000yd to 1 Mile club

    I'm a fan of the 300WM. Me it seems to be the most readily available, with tons of bullet pwdr combinations. Has good energy downrange which also makes it great for hunting. With a good muzzle brake the recoil isn't bad at all. imho

    What scope magnification primarily do you find yourself using when shooting ELR?

    I usually shoot around 16 pwr out to 1k yds, but that Vortex PST 6-24 FFP is the way to go for a scope on a budget. Optics Planet has them usually for a good price, plus the unconditional warranty.... awesome

    Hunting & Fishing Hornady AMAX for hunting?

    With my 300wm, 178amax's it's killed 2 antelope (560yds and 620yds) and two mule deer(270yds and 90yds) this year. Caused extreme carnage but impressively dropped them fast. Retention might not be the best, would like to see some jug tests.

    Its a easy and mostly cheap way to protect your AR. Good idea in my opinion. you can pay as little as $30(Kies) on up to an arm and a leg for one.
