Long range 338 is good to go. Got my razor to me safe and sound.

    Mag length heavy AR15 bullets/loads

I use 69 grain smks with varget. 25.0 or 25.2 was the best load. 3" 5 shot groups at 400 yards if I did my part. Cci primer and set to mag length. This was out of a 16" bushmaster from 2002 era.

Rifle Scopes Scope with most "Color Pop"?

I thought the kahles had the best when I was at sport optics looking at the S&B, vortex, NF F1.

    Suppressors Thunderbeast Suppressor Blew Up?

You have to have a zero oxidation on both sides. If the color gets more than silver and shiny towards gold like a stainless weld it can be brittle and break quickly. If the wire is pulled from the argon coverage and not clipped off it can cause problems also. I don't have any cans yet but I read...

    Best base rifle

Skip the ruger for long range shooting. Their bases and rings don't leave you many choices for scopes without machining the bases off and putting bolt on ones back. I had a ruger 6.5 creedmoor and it was a good shooter.

Sidearms & Scatterguns Tic Tic Tic XDS

I've got a label headed m way for the wife's pistol. I hope they have a fix ready and we can get it back in 4 weeks or less. Might be a good excuse for another pistol for her now.

    93 Cummins ?'s

That would be fine and dandy if he had a p pump instead of the VE pump. That sounds like a real nice running truck you got there.

    93 Cummins ?'s

1450 for short bursts and 1350 extended like towing up a mountain. The pump timing can be changed by spinning the pump towards the head. You can find instructions on 1stgen.org or cummins forum. You can give it more fuel with the fuel screw and see if that will help a little.

    93 Cummins ?'s

There's a lot of easy free mods for those pumps. Flipping the aneroid so that the deepest part is where the little pin rides will help. You can adjust the screw under the cover in a little more to let it fuel a little more down low. It will smoke a little when you do this but it will improve...

    Rifle Scopes Vortex PST Travel

I had a pst in mil/mil mounted on a 338. With a 200 yard zero and a 20 moa rail I only had 11 mil left up. That was my only complaint about the scope itself.

    6.5 Creedmoor bust'n Welds

You may be able to find small drop pieces from a local machine shop or fab shop. Most suppliers will sell you a whole sheet but it was around $1k for 1/4" or 3/8" in a 4'x8' sheet.

Reloading: The Time vs Cost Saving Equation

Unless you're loading a big caliber like 338 lapua then the savings won't show up quickly. If you figure $1 a shot for 308 and then reloading is $.65 a round it will take a while to save the money on equipment. 338 at $5-6 a shot or $1.35 for a reload figuring brass lasts 5 times is a bigger...

Member Link Up Any long range shooters in East TN.

There's this place in Oak Ridge. http://orsaonline.org/ I'm up almost back into Va. There's some guys around Abingdon Va that shoot quite a bit out to 2k yards.

    Deep Thoughts By VJJ Handy

There's a few things I agree with you on. The prison system sucks for how long it takes to get stuff done. My daughter is almost 4 now and she doesn't have a wii or anything like that. I hope to keep it that way for a long while. Kids are the best thing in the world. There's nothing greater...

That is real interesting. A lot of things like that seem to get left out of our media and news.

    Relocation input is welcomed!

Re: Relocation input is welcomed! I'm in tn and thinking of trying to relocate out west. Tn or Ky isn't a bad state. We have high sales tax but no income tax or personal property taxes. Virginia is a nice state and I'm less than 10 miles from it. They have income tax, personal property...

    300wsm effective range?

Re: 300wsm vs. 6.5CM Berger 190s and RL 22 or 4831SC and you'll probably have sub moa out to 1k if you can do your part. I was getting 2" at 400 yards with the RL 22 pushing the bergers. It worked out to around 2875 out of a FN TSR when shot on out to 700 yards.
