Sitting here at work I was thinking about how I've read that temperature effects your shot. But in what way? I've tried searching for it already. Say I was zeroed in at 70 degrees today its 5 degrees what kind of changes would be present? Shooting a Remington.700 sps tactical with 168 gr...- Danny36

Ok. First day at the range. It was busy so I started at the 50yd stand. I zeroed about 3 inches high and got a good 5 shot group. Anything farther I wasn't even hitting the stand. I pulled the bolt and bore sighted at 100 once it opened. Still nothing. I'm confused angry and outta ammo til next...- Danny36

Member Link Up Anyone in NORTHEAST OHIO???
Does anyone around Youngstown area know of anywhere to shoot? I have a bunch of unreliable friends with sweet property so I need somewhere new tp go regularly so I can actually get accustomed to my rifle.- Danny36

Re: Ar-15 problems ...... The set screws were loose. I'm going to tighten them down and put loctite on them and run it this weekend. If the problem continues I'm going to get a new gas tube and block.- Danny36

Re: Ar-15 problems ...... It does wiggle at the front of the gas block and the gas block does have a slight amount of play in it. It has two set screws at 6 o'clock and a roll pin securing the tube. If I could figure out how to upload pictures from my phone it'd probably be easier to explain...- Danny36

This weekend I took my AR out for the first time. After firing about 15 rounds it started to jam up and wouldn't eject. I noticed a little carbon on the gas block and took off the handguards.
