Watch Out for Scammers!
We've now added a color code for all accounts. Orange accounts are new members, Blue are full members, and Green are Supporters. If you get a message about a sale from an orange account, make sure you pay attention before sending any money!
You and the other guy just learned how you got scammed. Another member was screaming about a breach last week and that his email wasn't here and it took me two seconds to look at his posts and find the one from 2020 where he posted his email. ALL MEMBERS: DO NOT POST YOUR PHONE NUMBERS OR...
That’s why I use the magnetic one from RCI as it stays in place and doesn’t fall out like the basic ones but it also goes into chamber and more and more clubs are requiring that now.
Good info Hafejd30. Might have to try and get some of those. I have actually used some of the collars mentioned and they work really good but something else I have started doing, especially to the butt, is take the wheel out of its spot and put it on the outside and use it as a reference point...
What's your end use going to be? If just from a bench at your home range then either should work fine. If competing then I'd look a little harder at the differences. Also take a look at the MPA offerings if looking at chassis in the price range of the MDT Elite. The MPA Matrix Pro II is worth a...
Honestly I can't feel a difference when behind them. Both are well made and the only real differences is the recoil lug and the bolt handle angle. I know TL3s can take AW mags but I never use them so as long as an action can take AICS mags I am happy. It will be a little while before I get a...
Honestly if looking to upgrade I would be looking for a set of binos with a reticle in them. Great glass is nice but you only need to see so much at matches. I got a set of Bushnell Match Pro ED 15x binos with a reticle and I can see everything I need to at a match and they were under $700. I...
Yes you did post your email address in 2020. The link is below. Scammers are not dumb and search your history and then use what they find. But bottom line is it was not Oldnewguy who scammed you. In the future do not post you want it in the ad as it's scammer chum. Same as WTB ads. Just send...
@MacBSG this has been reported and if something is not done tomorrow about it then you will be banned. @RedBreast21 there is no need to continually send reports about this. It's been seen.
Well I updated my thread on the Hunts Long Range lug that allows you to use TL3 shouldered prefits on an Origin and figured I would pass the info here in case anyone was interested or possibly didn't know about it. Here's a link to their site. $35 well spent if you also have a TL3...
Well figured I would update after getting to the range with the rifle. The HLR lug worked great! From factory ammo the shoulder only grew .002" so very minimal. My older prepped brass shoulder was .004" longer than factory so .002" over but still worked although a little more snug on the bolt...
I have no problem with long range precision with the Ckyepod. Same as my Harris I have used for 20 years in matches. I shoot in the east too but almost every match find a stage where the Ckyepod helps me a little. I agree they are expensive and more than I would spend new and why I bought mine...
