first off what is the purpose of this setup.. is it gonna strictly be a hunting setup or do you want to get into long range shooting? i just ordered a medium dnz for my tikka with a 3-9x40 and was told there is only a 1/8" difference between low and high.....so they recommended the medium...
i have a varmint rig I built my self with a 24" 1-8 twist Wilson arms bull barrel and its a hammer 3/4" all day long and 1/2" is not out of the question on a good day
it frustrates me too,,,,happened to me right before Christmas called and the lady promised me I would receive the items before the holidays and guess what they did like 3 days behind the rest of the stuff...they have a great reputation for cs and they deserve that, but I agree their inventory...
overkill and expensive,,,but it sure would be cool to own one.. only one I ever seen was a barrett of some sort that a local gun shop give away in a drawing.....
I'm in a savage 10 with the hs precision stock in 308 and a black friday swfa 3-15 ss for 1500 and it would fit your needs well Sent from my SCH-I535 using Tapatalk
I got a 24" 1-8 twist stainless barreled upper from MA parts and its a hammer... it has a Wilson barrel and a cmmg upper which are quality parts ,, couple that with a nice trigger and it easily shoots sub moa at 100 yrds with factory ammo..with 3/4" groups not out of the question...not bad for...
I agree on the wd-40 its great for displacing water,,,i use a grease in a syringe called shooters choice I think... its red and seems to work better than just oil fwiw
a 10/22.....lol jk I already have that,,im getting ready to order a gap hospitaller here in the very near future.. my dream rifle. Now just to do a few more side jobs to fund it lol and a nice optic CRAP when does it end
no doubt that's kinda rude to deny a gift no matter what it was....I am happy with every gift I get no matter how bad I don't like it...lol send it to me and ill regift it to my safe....
Re: Aimpoint PRO i have had mine for a few months now and it is awesome!! much more precise than the iron sights i was using,, and it seems very rugged and well built for the $400 price tag just wish it came with the outer cover
