Has anyone dug into laser scintillation and wind estimation? The technique itself is fairly old (1970) and Nick Vitalbo has a small business grant award for modifying oem lrf to accomplish the scintillation and wind part. Was wondering if any of the maker crowd here had messed around with it...

Thanks for the info. Looks like my set up. I do like the LRTSi. I ended up getting the 20 moa mount. I may need to do some thinking about which mount to get for the rmr.

Do any of y’all run an offset reddot on your MWS? Curious as to what you guys are using. Have a bushnel LRTSi , debating between an aimpoint and an rmr. Any others to consider? Love to see pics too. Thanks

Actually I haven’t. I am not wanting to hear that I bought the perfect scope. Did a bunch of review before I bought it. I got a great deal on it so if I don’t love it , no big deal. Just looking for any hidden gotchas to look out for. It’s a tool, they all have short comings.

Just pick up a bushy lrtsi 3-12 for a gas guns. read some good reviews here. Any pics with this optics on yours rigs? Also if you have any negative or positive experiences , be glad to read them too.

I am sure it is solid . No argument there. Also great materials can’t always defeat a poor design. However, from this thread alone I heard OCL was planning on an inconel can. So I would be curious as to their rationale

Not opposed to it but if I remember correctly from years and years ago inconel has better heat resistant properties than stainless. Now does it matter with my firing schedule, probably not after all stainless barrels last pretty well. but if I can get the more heat resistant material why not.
