    Rifle Scopes Nightforce Question?

    How much elevation travel do you get from 0 @100 yards? The scope is a NXS 12-42 X 56 NP-R1 I am only getting 23 MOA of elevation and 26 negative elevation.

    Disassemble the bolt or not?

    Is it better to disassemble the bolt to find the maximum length with no tension or better to have the bolt assembled the way it's going to be fired. Is there any difference in length between the two? Thanks in advance.

    Moving up from .308 to a 300 WIN MAG.

    Is that to much of a jump? I have been looking for a 1000 yard match rifle. Was thinking about a 6.5 Creedmoor or a .260 But this one kind of fell into my lap. It's a Remington 700 5R 26" in 300 Win Mag. What are the pro's and con's of the 300 Win Mag?

    Rifle Scopes Leupold Question?

    I'm looking to get a new Mark 4 LR/T 4.5-25 x 50mm scope. But the ER/T has spiked my interest. Is there a big difference between the LR/T and the ER/T? The purpose for the scope is for 500 & 1000 yard matches. Mounted on a 300 win mag or a .308 Thanks in advance. Rocky
