Re: Remington 700 rechamber Q's Fdkay,... It probably will out shoot the .308 in it's current form. As precise as it currently is, it will out shoot anything I am capable of, but, I am a fan of the .30 caliber round and it is just my own preference to change to a larger round. Hey everybody, just trying to find out about having my old Rem 700 re-chambered in .308. It's a 22-250 now. Has anyone had this kinda thing done recently, if so could you fill me in on the details..?
