I have a GAP-10 in 6 CM and shot it suppressed about 95% the time with my Surefire SOCOM RC2, and I was wondering about changing out the buffer spring to a JP Silent Capture Spring assembly to help with the brass not being beaten up so bad and help the bolt cycle much smoother. Have any of you...
Frank: While at Shot Show, did you see any new range finders that would compete with the Tarrapin X. I have been holding off getting a new range finder until after Shot Show but I have not heard or seen any new range finders coming out.
Figured that I would add to the collections of great Accuracy International on here. Here are my two Accuracy International. One is an AIAX in 6mm Creedmoor with a Kahles 525i with a SKMR3. The other is a AIAT with a 6.5 Creedmoor with S&B PMII 525 with a MRS. Both rifles have a Surefire break...
Rob01 thank you for your input. I will look at SK and may order a case to try out. I will say that I thought PRS style of shooting was addictive but this 22 LR shooting is a whole other level. No recoil and can have so much fun at 100 yards.
Well after owning my Vudoo for 24 hours all I can say is that it is going to cost me a lot of money on ammunition. I have shot 250 round of Lapua Center X and I plan on shooting another 250 rounds tomorrow. I know that Lapua is the best of the best and boy does my gun love it but how is Prime’s...
Yes it is an 18” Vudoo Barrel in the Kukri contour. I like it. It looks great and it shoots great. I had a break in the rain and was able to 40 shots at 25 yards in before it started raining again. These are 10 shot groups with Lapua Center X. This is shots 51 to 90 through the barrel. I...
Pictures or it did not happen right? Well I have my Vudoo in hand it is so awesome. The fit and finish is out of this world. And my only complaint is that I was only able to 50 rounds down the barrel before it started pouring down rain. But in those 50 rounds I have fallen in love with this...
Thank you for your reply. That makes sense and I will set up my rifle scope that way and see how I like it. Now I have a 1 hour wait for the LGS to open up.
Gentlemen, I will be picking up my Vudoo on Friday from the LGS and will be heading out to my back pasture to zero the rifle. What distance is everyone zeroing their rifles at? 25 yards or 50 yards or 100 yards? I will be using the rifle at our local 22 lr match and shooting steel on my property.
Rob01. That is what I have been reading. But I purchase 500 rounds of Center X. So I will try that out first. I never saw or read about the Fed UM22 GMM I will have to do a search. Thanks for the info.
Well gentlemen, I finally pulled the trigger on a V22. I went with an Apparition in an MPA BA Comp. Will be putting a Viper PST GEN 2 5-25 on it. I also purchased 3 extra mags and the Vudoo bore guide. I think I’m pretty set up and can’t wait for it to get in. It will be a long 8 weeks. LOL.
I found this thread and Frank explains the answer to my question very well. I should have done some more reading before posting. Thank you for all your's replies. https://www.snipershide.com/shooting/threads/gain-twist-in-depth-and-reloading.6886129/ Malcolm
Been listening to the Everyday Sniper Podcast and Frank has mentioned the use and benefits of a gain twist barrel. I understand the reasoning and logic behind the use of a gain twist barrel but I have one concern about them. My concern is that if purchase a gain twist barrel blank and cut it...
