I have a 16" 6.5x47 built by Accurate Ordnance. It has a Bartlein #3 barrel topped off with a Thunderbeast 7" can, Manners EH2 stock. It's my whitetail rifle and has accounted for a bunch of deer with 123 Amax. Does well on steel out to 800yds. It's my favorite rifle by far.

Streamlight makes a functional light, but I strongly prefer the Surefire. You can get the older 500-600 lumen version off Ebay for your price range. Any lumens less than that is inadequate if there's other ambient illumination (streetlights, squad car lights, etc).

I have the 7, can't imagine using anything longer than that. It really is the sweet spot for all around use.

I recently emailed Hornady about this. They replied that the Drop was not compatible with 4DOF

About to pull the trigger on some RRS gear. I see they have options as to which handle on the TA-3 leveling base, 2.5", 4.5", or low-profile knob. Pros/cons? Also, in actual use the locking collar on the TA-U, which is mounted above the legs, looks like it would be easier to run than reaching...

It is foam inside. Nothing solid to attach the pad too.

What barrel contour is that?

I just got my 30PS. Im really liking it so far. No discernable impact shift on my 19" Rem Varmint countour barrel. Much handier on an AR too compared to a typical 9" .30 can. Havnt been able to shoot it side by side with a 30P yet to compare.

I've not been able to find much on the Manners three color speckle finish. I could only find one thread, almost a year old with a few pics of the desert hunter finish. Does anyone have a stock in either that finish or the forest hunter that could post a good pic? Any thoughts on it from actual...

I'm gathering parts for my next build. It'll be a shorty suppressed hunting rifle for deer. Looking at 16-18". Having a hard time deciding on the barrel contour as I want to keep it light. Looking at Bartlein #3 Heavy Sporter, or #3B Lt Bull Sporter. Mark at Short Action Customs recommends...

Ok, I have searched and searched and can find no real discussion or pics about the Manners Mini-Chassis. Can you guys give me some input/opinions on this option? I like the idea of bolt and go as I'd like to drop in a stock 700P and then upgrade later.
