New Contest Starting Now! This Target Haunts Me
Tell us about the one that got away, the flier that ruined your group, the zero that drifted, the shot you still see when you close your eyes. Winner will receive a free scope!
Also waiting on my modified case so meanwhile I got some chrony time with factory:
Federal 90gr SMK.
Specs: 18" PSA 1-7 twist
- 17shots
- FPS: 2687
- SD: 9.8
I recently sent my Christensen back for it had horrible chrony results and second when I did a OAL to start reloading it was reamed to deep. My overall was longer then my 3.75 mag. Its been 2 weeks now and no return answer since they received it.
Decided to dump my 300wm for a 28Nosler. I went with a Christensen Arms MESA Long Range platform. Any other 28 Nosler shooters on here as well?? Ballistic info or loads welcomed.
My set up so far..
- Christensen Arms 28 Nosler MESA Long Range
- Vortex Viper PST FFP Gen 2 5-25x50
So this is the only place to call out 28 Nosler experts. This is a simple question hopefully I can get a simple platform answer.
I want to build a 28 Nosler with a Remington 700 receiver. Can I get some education on all the details to do so?
LA or SA...what bolt to use..etc
Thanks
This could be a reference for those that have trouble finding the right stock to fit your Heavy Varmint Contour set up. I myself am still looking for options that I can drop my barrel in without modifying the stock.
I was looking for pictures and or names of stocks that is just that. Direct...
Anyone here take there shorty past midrange and shoot 1000yd with it? Playing the water to see if you can utilize the 18"ers for both mid and long range.
I'm having a hard time finding the right stock for a #17 Heavy Barrel. It's for a Remington 700. I know the P and PSS model stocks need trimmed but wanted something aftermarket.
I like the AICS 1.5 stock and was wondering if anyone out there has a Heavy Varmint in it. If so did you have to...
I have no review except I am selling the one I have on hand. Way below cost....Just can't get out and use it. Work is taking my life over it seems.
I did take it out and play with it in the man cave. Easy set up, and transmitted to my laptop. Sorry that's all I can report.
Just bought the 1000yd Bullseye for $560. I was able to save using my laptop and it stores info @ the same time.
ETA: and it shipped the same day. Will be here in 4 days!
I have alot of H1000 that I was using for 285gr - 300gr. With supplies limited I have a bulk of 250gr. Seems like slim pickings on gathering load data with this combo (Sierra 250gr HPBT Match w/ H1000). Can you guys share your data?
Thanks for teh info.
