    LaRue 6 ARC Upper

I bought one of the FDE 6.5 Grendels years ago. I didn't care for the accuracy out of the barrel. Had Craddock spin up a Bartlein 18" SPR profile for it. HSM was the most accurate out of it but I haven't seen it available in a few years

    6.5 Grendel Build or Buy

I wasn't that impressed with the accuracy out of the the factory barrel. The JP BCG is unbelievably smooth and slick. Last upgrade will be the JP SCS. I will say that the LaRue MBT is terrific..especially for the price. I prefer it over the Geisseles that I have installed.

    6.5 Grendel Build or Buy

Started Life as a full LaRue Grendel rifle. Ended up replacing the barrel with a Craddock Precision almost immediately also swapped out the BCG for a JP.. The HSM ammo shot the best for me but it hasn't been available for an eternity. Looking back on it,I should have just built around the...

    Is H&K G28 better than Knights SR-25?

most guns could barely hold 1.5-2.0 MOA at 100. We did have some sub MOA groups across the line but there were inconsistencies. I came out of the marksman Observer course disappointed in the system. There was on Air Force guy that brought his M24. In fact, the qualification targets were changed...

The New Badger is nice. I also run Geissele, I have had perfect return to zero with them. Nice Larue

What rifle would you buy if all your ammo was 7.62x51 surplus ammo

My vote would be a flavor of M1A- mainly due to gun laws. In MA all ARs-AKs and clones there of are banned if they were manufactured after July 2016. But the law specifically allows M1As,Mini 14s as well as others. Its funny that the PS90 and Tavor are specifically listed on the approved list.

    Is H&K G28 better than Knights SR-25?

We had issues with the M110s at USAMPS, mainly trigger issues. They were also inconsistent in regards to accuracy from platform to platform. They also had to be shipped directly back to Knights for any work. Out of those currently available I would take the LMT. The barrel change alone makes it...

    Looking for something different

6mm ARC is the hotness or a large frame in 6.5. Maybe an LMT MWS or Larue PtOBR to switch calibers
