Watch Out for Scammers!
We've now added a color code for all accounts. Orange accounts are new members, Blue are full members, and Green are Supporters. If you get a message about a sale from an orange account, make sure you pay attention before sending any money!
It's all a racket. I'm trying to switch from one specialist (who doesn't appear to give 2 shits anymore) to a different one in the same field, and the new one wants a referral from my GP. My GP wants me to come in for a visit. They basically get a co-pay and to bill my insurance for absolutely...
They are definitely shady. Years ago I had signed up but not bid or bought anything and someone started making small purchases through my account but using random "keyboard" names like "578378495hhfhgfghjdjj". I sent messages and tried to report it and got no response. After months of this I...
Maybe it's from the damage done as one round slides over the next round in the magazine (cycling and loading mag), causing bullet deformation thereby changing the effect the rifling has on it. You're not getting that single load. Not only that, the spring tensions in my magazines vary greatly...
We appreciate the fact you were blessed/cursed with OCD. So much good info debunking the status quo. If you have another attack you can't control ( hope not for your sake) and feel the need to get greasy fingers Lapua Center-X would be a great contender to the Eley and the CCI. Thanks again for...
Fraying won't likely happen. The CF is most likely pre-preg, pre-saturated with the correct amount of epoxy and cured in an autoclave (pressure oven). The end result is more of a solid resing than a cloth. Break it in half and you may have some fraying, but that would be the least of your worries.
I put an HVRTS in my b-14 R and have it around 8 ozs. (#2 or B spring) I love it now. When I first installed it back in April I started having a harder bolt throw. I thought it had something to do with the trigger but it did it with the stock trigger installed as well, so I began removing the...
I had a Redfield 3200 on mine but need to send it off to have the crosshairs replaced and was thinking about a receiver mounted option in the meantime.
This was what I saw as well. It shoots well in most of my rifles(Anschutzs, Sako P94s, 40x, CZs, etc.) EXCEPT the B-14R and it won't cycle in my 1022. I like the stuff a lot, especially for the price.
What was your specific problem with the Jewell trigger? How did you go about thinning the housing? I have one in a B-14r that makes the bolt drag and makes it almost unusable once cocked, as in cycling out an unfired round. I'm looking for any lead to get it sorted, tight trigger, sear height...
I put a Jewell HVRTS in mine and it is stiffer as well. It is so stiff when already cocked I had to unscrew the bolt shroud a turn for it to be usable. I'd love to know the cause of this. Sear height?
