    Spoke with Alamo Precision today. Got a quote sitting in my inbox on a 6.5 PRC Ranger build. They intimated that their 6.5 PRC sales are as brisk as their 6.5CM were a few years ago. Pretty encouraging.

    It’s a 6.5x284 Norma crossout with a SAAMI spec chamber, correct twist rate barrels for heavy for caliber bullets, and reasonably priced Hornady factory ammo. I bought mine as a do it all hunting caliber. I don’t compete or have time to reload anymore.

    Rifle Scopes NF SHV Question

    No the glass isn’t as good to my eyes when I compared them. That said, the SHV does have good glass and I still like the SHV 3-10 though on my hunting rifle. It’s well built but not too heavy.
