    Re: Scope Rail Bedding I tried the printer paper test, while having screws tightened on one side only, the sheet goes in rather easily. In fact it doesn't matter which side I tighten the opposing one lets the sheet through. So I am planning on bedding both sides

    I am ready to bed the TPS steel aloy scope rail on a Remi 700 VSF. I was planning on using petroleum jelly as a release agent in conjunction with JBweld. Does any know if there is a an issue with using petroleum jelly aka Vaseline as a release agent? Thanks Idol
