I have done it about a dozen times with Fed 210 primers and worked perfectly. I just made sure to go real easy and steady so as not to piss the things off.
Boogaloo thanks for the video, that is a solid video compared to some I have seen perusing the interwebs. I am going to get some 700 tempilaq and set up my drill and torch in such a way as to maximize the consistency case to case. Hopefully it works out well, but I basically know in the future...
wow that video is scary, even with a few searches and quick reads you find out that what he is doing is very wrong and dangerous. Thanks for the input guys, and hopefully the guy who made that video hasn't fallen victim to his practices.
Well if it is the Mcmillan cheekpiece setup you could always get the DBM inletted one so you can have the KMW cheekpiece system installed, as it is (seemingly) a much better system than the mcmillan one. I have a SA A3-5 and love it but the cheekpiece loosens after some shooting and needs to be...
Hey guys, Tried annealing some brass today and used the method of using a socket on a drill and a propane torch and dropping them into water. I used some scrapped cases as practice for the timing and other variables and got to what looks to be pretty consistent and satisfactory. what do...
Hey Guys, I got some wheeler levels for leveling my optic with my action and, well, it is a bit odd. I thought it was pretty good before and now when I have a level on the action rails and one on top of the top turret and they match up, the reticle looks totally cockeyed when you look through...

Hey guys, Went and shot for the first time past 100 yds and wanted to see how i did at 300yds. The wind was about 30knts with some gusts getting closer to 40 from the 2oclock. it was about 75F. The wind wasn't so much messing with my shots as much as it was basically kicking the shit out...
Hey guys, I am looking to add a surefire brake to my Rem700 SPSVarmint in 308. In looking at all of surefire's models it appears the ones that fit the varmint contour barrel are the 338LM caliber brakes. Will using one of the 338LM brakes have any negative side affects when used on a 308...

Re: First time reloading and issues ok, i will have to get some standard dies and make that happen. the .315 was a tight fit but it definitely seated a bullet surprisingly. I imagine its a very tight fit and would potentially lead to some spiked pressures.
Re: First time reloading and issues well in using the .343 and .344, the bullet is moveable with just finger strength, while the .315 is very snug and not moveable with your fingers. and yes these are hornady once fired brass unfortunately i dont have any of the factory ammo left to...
