Re: 308 hunting questions on deer... IF the deer are that small in stature...I would leave the 300 and take the 308. Dead is Dead BUT In my opinion The 300 would be too much gun.- Abolt2

Re: Boots It is hard to say until you have put some miles in a pair. Trying on a new pair is not the same as a broke-in pair. My current pair is Cabela's Outfitter and I didn't like em at first, but now, I have grown quite fond of them.- Abolt2

Re: Which binos for $500? For the money, I think you should strongly consider the Vortex Viper. I compared the Talon and the Viper both were the new HD models and I was very impressed with both but the Viper's felt better in my hands.- Abolt2
