I just tried 178 eldm’ s and rl-17 and the results were amazing. 2700fps with an awesome group. tikka T3x varmint 20” factory barrel and little bastard break.

Mine is 18.5" long and I load 123gr SST's @3000fps using 42gr of varget. Great hunting load!!

It´s a little slimmer on the forend area, easier to handle IMO. the T2 might ride the sandbags better with the wider frond, but for all around use I find the EH1 a little better

I have a 18.5" barrel on one and had awesome results using IMR4166. I'm getting 2770fps with 143 hornady ELD-X´s using hornady brass. You might wanna take look at that powder. I was using the same load of RL17 as in my 26" barrel and was getting around 2680fps. I believe the slower burning RL17...

I´m in love with my 6.5 Creedmoor. I use a 26" Bartlein and load nosler brass with 43gr of RL-17 and this is how it shoots. SD goes a little high on very hot days, but normally stays around 10

I´ve had very bad results using hornady GMX line of bullets. I´ve used them in my sako 270 WSM and my custom 6.5 CM. 130gr for the 270 and 120 for the 6.5. Groups were pretty bad and MV was lower than expected for the load. I changed to 130 SST and 123 SST and it was like having new rifles...
