Product availability aside…did you guys actually watch the whole video? Seems like there are a lot of new technologies and innovation in this rifle. Fancy coatings, forged bolt, new gas system, and a chrome lined barrel that is (allegedly) super accurate AND tough. If it does everything they say...

OP, your observations are basically correct…AI’s are phenomenal mil/LE sniper rifles. Their are better choices for gun games and hunting. I run a 16” AT-LE at work and it’s the most ridiculously boring gun I’ve ever owned or been issued. It’s stupid reliable, never looses zero, shoots the same...

Who did the barrel work?

Anyone on here own the illuminated reticle version of the MK5 2-10? Curious to know how bright/useable the illumination is during daylight hours.

+1 for the BRT gas tube. Run that in a fixed gas block, Springco blue, and a H2 or 3 buffer.

You might pay a little more but I’d go with a DD lower and BCG, A5 recoil system, and a LPK from BCM or SOLGW with a mil spec + type trigger or a Geissele if you want to be baller. I prefer guns with matched receivers/rails, and they generally retain value better.

Here’s an example of two cold bore shots fired 10 minutes apart at 100 yards. First round was Hornady TAP 168 ELD-M and the second was a custom loaded (Factory) 180gr Accubond. Pretty sweet when you’re open air and barrier round have the exact same POI.

Random question on Craddock barrels…does the buyer have any options on gas port sizing?
