    Thank you for the reply, but they're all small shank savage barrels. The solus barrel nut spins right on all my barrels. I've had the barrel of choice in the freezer. Hoping it will shrink a little. My only thoughts so far is whatever savage uses for thread locker/red. That may still be on...

    Bison Gun

    As ScarlettRed said. Bison are tough. I've put down 6 mature bulls for a local herd owner. So far. A 30-06 with 180 grain accubonds has been the ticket for me. All shot inside 60 yards. Bullet placement is critical. Huge looking heads, but not a very big target. A good friend that works...
