i had a sticky bolt with ppu brass also bolt wouldnt pull back but i just think that was a pressure issue reloaded it with 44 grains of varget and then i realized that my digital scale was off. shot only five rounds and three out of five got stuck

use lake city its cheap and if your just starting it will help you develop you skills then you can drop cash on quality components

i think you would need to resize it as it need to be checked as it were a new round... i would thing that a fired case might have inconsistancies when measuring like the brass expanding more on some than others then again this is my understanding... check it as if you were about to fire it or...

check out the stickys on the reloading page also there are a few good videos on youtube that have helped me out... i have a lyman and a nosler manual .... i load noslers more often cuz i find them more offten localy than hornady or sierra...

in reality its not for 1000 yards. I dont have a range or know of anyone with a streatch of land that goes that far ... The furthest i might go is like 600-700tops, i might get some 175s later.

just loaded up some 44, 43.5, 43, and 42.5 rounds... going to see how these do first, going to be testing at 300 yards and hopefully I don't have any more problems pulling the bolt back. ill keep you all posted on how this goes. im going to try and shoot these on Saturday if the weather good...

Point I forgot to mention im not using lc/lr brass its regular lc brass im guessing out of machine gun ....is there a diffeence in volume between the two

Have u been getting pressure signs with 44.5 grains....I dont have a comparator that measures off the ogive ...I just set over all length to 2.800

just got a sample pack of lc brass and wanted to work up a load , I have read that this brass is usually thicker and has less case volume. With that said what would be a ball park starting load for a Remington 700p 1:12 twist 26" barrel shooting nosler 168 custom competition bullets and varget...

they are just measurements the mil math is easier but if you match your reticle to your turret then either is fine i say... if you have a reticle in moa get a moa turret and so on with the mil reticle get a mil turret...

the best price i have seen it is at 32... but i cant really complain

ive seen some videos on youtube and it seems simple enough. i think the only problem some parts had was when the graphic adheres to the part it would streach and scew the picture a bit other than that seems like practice will get you what you want.

the 700 aac is a good choice and also the remy 5r.... i personally have a 700p and love it its sub moa out of the box....if you plan on changing the stock for what ever reason then get the aac sd the 5r already has a good stock on it and if you plan on changing it you shouldnt have a problem...

i would say have her hold the gun in her hand and see if she can rack the slide as well...other than that its reall how she likes it .... my wife perfers the sig 238 over the lcp or shield but she has small hands
