Anywhere in tennessee or southern Kentucky to shoot beyond 1200? I doubt it would be a range. I'm itching to try a mile but seems hard to find around here. Plenty of farms but you just have to know the right people.

Just to be anal about this test...do you measure distance from end of barrel, shooter position, or center of scope?

I have the shooter app and in mine it has elev, and wind correction factor...I'm assuming that's it and it just got updated on the new iOS and doesn't say SFF anymore?? Just making sure in not missing it somewhere else. Going to finally run this test on my 3 main guns this weekend and finally...

I would do a membership again if they did some actual work. Worrying about seeing through/over weeds, and basically being in a field isn't worth it. A weekend with a dozer would do wonders making berms at 100 yd increments and being able to see your shots in dirt.

The thing that killed me about Rockcastle membership is it was 125, plus 25 every time you wanted to shoot that field.

rockcastle, clarksville, and the new 1000 yd place in springhill are alll the same distance for me. Just dont like the membership part.

yea they want you to call ahead and make an appointment, i had membership in 2012 but didnt renew last year because of that problem and found out about the monthly shoots from here, which ended up being cheaper in the long run

if theres no more snipershide shoots, it would just be cheaper to buy the membership...hopefully there is still snipershide shoots though

getting to the range is easy...just not up the hill haha. Last time i was there, there were a few that had cars and had to walk up, not much difference. But trucks and 4wd def helps

Maybe OP has a V1 and is getting the upgrade kit? That makes it a V2??

Didn't end up trying it. It was sketchy and just didn't want to risk it. The HS brake that's on there now is much smaller but couldn't tell if there was any more recoil or not so I'm happy with it...to bad the scope went out today. Very happy with chrono results though

And to be fair the V2 does day for up to 2.5 in dia and 3in length brakes...and the stock BA brake is 4in long.

Well now I can get back to shooting and being able to use the magnetospeeed on my 110 BA . I actually like the look of the HS brake on the 110...

I started off with 300 scenars and they worked awesome. Tried 250's and couldn't do anything for a decent group. Been using hornady match 285's for a year and they were also good in this gun. Currently working up a load for the 285 amax and so far I've had 1in groups at 400 yds, and mainly 2in...

It fits all my other guns just fine, even thin lightweight barrels. Maybe I call magnetospeeed tomorrow and see if they would look into a big brake version or something else to accommodate this.
