Suppressors SWR Spectre II - Update

The thread length on the FV-SR seems to be a little inconsistent, some customer report that they are within the desired length and others have problems. The best way to check is to measure the threads.

    Suppressors baffle strikes???????

Another thing to check is length of the threads. If they are longer .400" you are likely getting contact between the muzzle and o-ring causing the suppressor to cant.

    Suppressors Silencerco/SWR LE Statement

Basically if they don't sign the Benefit of Use form for us to use in our continued lobbying efforts we won't sell them our products. If they sign it's win win, they get to use our products and we get "support" in our lobbying efforts from an unlikely source.

Suppressors Spectre to SpectreII upgrade: Info for all users

The threads on the host gun that was having the problem are not cut to our specs. We have an internal o-ring integrated into the design of the suppressor to offer the best seal and keep the threads as clean as possible. Attached is a drawing of the thread spec available on our website. If you...

    Suppressors Osprey 45 & Glock 19 FTF & FTE

Very good recommendations in here so far. I would also recommend making sure the piston has a little bit of grease on the area where it makes contact with the o-ring and try some 147gr subs or some lower grain supers and see if it functions. As mentioned I think it is likely that your ammo is...

Suppressors SWR Spectre II - Update

At .400" the muzzle should lightly touch the o-ring. The Sparrow thread spec we provide has a slight gap between the threaded portion and the o-ring however the smooth portion that actually engages the o-ring on our spec will protrude slightly past the o-ring itself. If the threads are longer...

Suppressors SWR Spectre II - Update

The original Spectre has an internal thread length of .650". The Sparrow, Spectre II and Warlock II will work fine with threads cut to .400" or shorter. The issue doesn't come from contact with the o-ring but rather contact with the o-ring retention shelf that is cut at the back of the threaded...

    Suppressors Suppressor Concentricity

We have been in contact with Greg at Primal Rights regarding his recent video on suppressor concentricity. We have offered suggestions as to thread specs for rimfire for use with our silencers to provide more accurate representation of what run out numbers on ours or other suppressors are. Greg...

Suppressors What's the coating on ss sparrow suppressors?

The finish is a Black Oxidization. Anytime you use something aggressive enough to eat the lead and carbon build up off the metal there is a chance you will take the finish with it. In the SS Sparrow the finish on the core is cosmetic only, the discoloration will not effect performance. I got...

Suppressors How often to clean sparrow ss?

The dip will strip the finish off of anything you put in it. It won't hurt the metal from what I have seen but it will discolor the finished parts. An Ultrasonic cleaner will yield the same result.
