Maybe the scorcher in July. Trying to talk some buddies into driving to Arkansas. I have some fishing travel for the next 6 weeks so I’ll be well rested. Congrats on the win!

Another match in the books. By far my worst match to date. It’s all in the video. Good to see some of you guys out there.

    New CHAD clone from Preece.

I will have the trigger cam running for the match this weekend as well as a go pro. Good or bad it'll all be documented ( I do it for myself, but happy for others to get something from it if they can) for me to review after the fact. Shoot, I'm so new to PRS I am still trying to figure out how...

    New CHAD clone from Preece.

    It doesn't bother me, or I don't notice it. I don't feel a blast.

Good observation. That's my buddy shooting the APA, he has a lot of time behind his rifle and the APA for sure. I'm shooting a match with the Preece this weekend, and I'll make my mind up about it. So far, I like it.

    New CHAD clone from Preece.

I bought the Preece brake to give it a try. I was currently using the APA fat bastard. I made a video of me and a buddy practicing one shot drills, This is not a review of the Preece brake. Thought I would post the video here in case anyone wanted to see the muzzle rise while I was shooting the...

Bbyars, I really enjoyed it. It had everything a PRS match should have. Very challenging and fun, even though we had a little switch north wind during some of the stages.

Here we go again. I shot in another Regional Qualifier match in Anderson, Texas this past weekend. I was prepared, but was I really? I noticed a few things that need some attention. Mostly, taking an extra second to steady up on the target and make a clean trigger squeeze. How about aiming at...

    Looking for PRS Beginner Tips

I'm a new shooter too(5 matches), I also took a total of 3 new shooters to matches and the one thing they all seemed to struggle with was getting into a stable position with their bag. So, practice getting your rifle on your bag and being stable. Make sure you are placing your bag in a way that...

PRS-Here I come! Follow my progress. UPDATED!

What bullet are you shooting and what's the BC you have entered into your ballistic solver? This past match my shooting partner fat fingered his BC and he was all over the place. He was shooting Berger 109's and has his BC set to .270 (which is where I run my 105's + .001 or .002) He's usually...

Honest question. Where do you need improvement? Is it truing your rifle, pre-shot routine, wobble zone, etc??? That's something I ask myself often, in the pursuit of getting better. I thought I had a good system/pre shot routine but it failed me this last match, so I'm going to improve it.

PRS-Here I come! Follow my progress. UPDATED!

Best in Texas, 2day match is in the books. Where do I begin? Day 1 started off pretty decent with only dropping 19 shots or so, which put me in about 60th place out of 194. I shot well, took my time and had good follow through. Day 2 I started the morning with a clean and just needed to stay...

    IDTS Dry Fire Questions

I was too cheap to buy anything so I improvised. MDT has targets on their website you can print out. I printed out the targets and taped them to my garage door, thankfully I have a vortex razor with great short distance parallax. I cut up white pieces of electric tape ( about .3 mil) and put...

PRS-Here I come! Follow my progress. UPDATED!

Before doing any sort of positional shooting, I have shot 5 or 6 F class matches which is shoot all prone. I think part of my success comes from being obsessed with getting better, and the fact that I have put 1500 rounds through this rifle since the beginning of this thread.

Thanks, I do a lot of dry fire and try to minimize the wobble. I’m basically looking for the reticle to not move when I squeeze the trigger. I run a wiebad tatertot glass filled bag, it’s the most stable one I have found.
