    i have a Gen I, 1-4 on a DD AR now and like it. I'm planning to build a 16 inch Grendel AR for hunting and range work. Thought of swapping the optic over, but if the second gen is that much better should I just go for it. I understand the FOV is about 20 feet greater on the new one plus more...

    I just read a Luckgunner report from October that compared all the major brands for penetration, expansion etc from shorter barrel pistols. Pretty interesting and the brands you mentioned did just fine in the comparison

    New - LaRue 6.5 Grendel Rifle

    I was talking to my gunsmith today about building a new lightweight Grendel. Hard to beat tha Larue for sure.
